About me

While I am very versatile in my many different fields and experiences, computers and technology have always been my strongest suit. Programming has been in my veins since I was young, and some of my projects reflect this. However, I am not just with the software: I have built and worked with hardware and networking as well.

When I am not involved in computers and tech, I can often be spotted elsewhere. The nice thing about Colorado involves the nature and culture of the active life in this state. Photography, nature and mountains, and sports such as hockey, baseball and bowling are among my favorites. I am also very service-minded when it comes to other people. Games, Star Wars and fantasy are among my favorite things to enjoy. And then there are the druids...

So what's with the druidlove and druids?

Good question. A lot of it comes down to how they are portrayed, especially in role playing games (RPGs). I love the fact that they prefer nature and natural objects. Yeah, doesn't quite fit in with technology, but not everything in technology is based on concrete rules. Druids are also very versatile in that they can be portrayed to fit in any role in a party. Often, they have abilities to work with magic in nature. Some games even insist their natural tendencies with animals can make them shapeshift into other animals. Strong as a bear, cunning as a wolf, slippery as a seal, or whatever form is needed to fit the situation is where a druid fits best. Because of this, dedication to the team is where they earn the most respect.

The purpose of this site

This is version 13 of this site. (Version 12 never made it outside of local development). This site will be able to showcase my talents and be the launching pad to my creative efforts. In other words, the portfolio starts here with this page and site and will link out to examples I will build up. Not everything can be shown on one site. I can link up to GitHub when possible or provide proof when I can. It also is not completely technical, as I will keep non-technical fantasy projects here as well. But it is also a living resource, so I encourage you to check it on a regular basis.
